The Perioperative Nurse Manager will be in charge of overseeing pre-op, OR, and PACU care provided by nurses is efficient and thorough.
This involves keeping staff up to date with current best practices and making sure they are following guidelines set by the hospital.
In addition, the position requires collaboration with the Surgical Services Director and other hospital managers to achieve the highest level of operational and clinical efficiency that aligns with the hospital's standards and values.
The Perioperative Nurse Manager will also have opportunities to develop their staff through education and quality improvement initiatives.
